Our AML and Verification Policy

We hold licence ALSI-202411152-FI7 from the Anjouan authorities, and this page sets out in plain terms how we meet our anti-money-laundering obligations and when we verify your identity.

Our Commitment to AML Rules

At Coinpoker Casino we operate under licence ALSI-202411152-FI7 issued by the Anjouan licensing authority. That licence binds us to a full anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing programme, and we treat those obligations as a condition of doing business rather than a box-ticking exercise.

Our compliance team is led by a designated Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) who reports to senior management. Every member of staff involved in payments, account handling or customer support completes AML training before they touch player accounts, and refresher training runs each year.

We apply a risk-based approach. Crypto play and large fiat withdrawals carry different risk profiles, so the checks we run on your account scale with the activity we see, not a single fixed procedure for everyone.

When We Verify Your Identity

Triggers for verification

We built our platform crypto-first, so most players who deposit and withdraw in BTC, ETH or USDT will never be asked for routine identity documents. Verification happens at clearly defined points: at registration, where we run electronic screening in the background; at your first fiat withdrawal; and at any point where thresholds or suspicious activity require it under our licence.

A large fiat withdrawal request is the most common trigger. If you withdraw a substantial sum in GBP, EUR or USD, we will ask you to complete verification before the payment leaves our system.

  • Registration: automatic electronic screening against sanctions and PEP lists, no documents required
  • First fiat withdrawal: standard document check before payout
  • Large withdrawals: enhanced verification, including source of funds where applicable
  • Suspicious activity: verification at any time, at our discretion
